Watch: Former Bearcats Tight End Josiah Deguara Scores Long NFL Touchdown, Breaks Down Play

CINCINNATI — Former Cincinnati tight end Josiah Deguara battled injury throughout 2020, but he appeared in 12 NFL games this season and capped his 2021 campaign with his best professional performance.
The Green Bay Packer finished Sunday's loss to the Lions with three catches for 66 yards and a touchdown. The catches tied a career-high, while the yards blew away his previous best totals.

A 2020 third-round pick, Deguara figures to keep expanding his role in Green Bay next season. He became only the second tight end in Cincinnati history to eclipse 1,000-yards receiving for his career (1,117) alongside Brent Celek (1,135).
At the time of the Packers' pick, Deguara was the program's highest draft selection since Travis Kelce in 2013. He holds the school record for career catches by a tight end (92).
