Cincinnati Signee JQ Hardaway Competes in Under Armour All-America Game

Hardaway is Cincinnati's second-highest ranked 2022 recruit behind Mario Eugenio.

CINCINNATI — JQ Hardaway signed with the Bearcats last month and showed off his talents at the 2022 Under Armour All-America Game.

The four-star safety out of Phenix City Central (Ala.) suited up for Team Legends, who fell 23-17 to Team Icons. Top-ranked wide receiver Luther Burden scored a touchdown on the Icons' first play from scrimmage and they weathered a comeback to end up on top.

Hardaway earned his way onto the roster with a stellar 2021 senior season. He tallied 39 tackles, six interceptions, four pass breakups, and two forced fumbles on the year. The final marks were strong enough for the Alabama Football Writer's Association to name him first-team All-Alabama.
