Recruiting Roundup: UC Makes Top-Nine Schools For Four-Star 2025 Tight End Eli Owens

Cincinnati takes on Oklahoma State this weekend.

CINCINNATI — Time for another Recruiting Roundup as UC football gets ready to face the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

Things start with four-star 2025 tight end Alcoa (Tennessee) Eli Owens inluding UC in his final nine schools.

Cincinnati, Tennessee, Wisconsin, South Florida, Michigan, Alabama, North Carolina, and Ohio State are all involved after Owens visited UC for the Oklahoma matchup.

Cincinnati offered him this April. According to 247Sports, Owens is the 323rd-ranked player naitonally and the 17th-best tight end.

The 6-foot-2, 243-pound pass catcher plays angry with that frame and shows versatility at the same time. Owens can line up in-line, out wide, in the slot. Alcoa uses him all over the place and he showed strong hands at each spot.

He's a very balanced runner who can take punishment and still keep chuggin through contact. He would fit right into UC's smashmouth offensive build under Scott Satterfield.

We move to an offer for three-star 2025 offensive lineman Jon Adair out of Lipscomb Academy (Tennessee).

According to 247Sports, Adair is ranked 539th nationally and 31st among interior offensive linemen.

The 6-foot-5, 285-pound junior holds five other offers from schools like Kentucky and Missouri.

Next is an offer to unranked 2025 athlete Shekai Mills-Knight out of Baylor School (Tennessee).

Mills-Knight is not ranked on a major service and holds one other major offer from Ole Miss. He plays running back and linebacker.

The third offer landed with unranked 2025 tight end Andrew Olesh out of Southern Lehigh (Pennsylvania).

Olesh is not ranked on a major service and holds five other offers from schools like Akron and South Florida.

We close with an offer to three-star 2025 offensive lineman Kevin Peay out of Lancaster (South Carolina).

According to On3, Peay is the 77th-best interior lineman nationally and the 12th-best player in South Carolina.

The 6-foot-4, 295-pound talent holds five other offers from schools like Appalachian State and Boston College.
