Report: Four-Star 2025 Center Malachi Moreno Visiting During Miami Weekend

In this story:
CINCINNATI — UC basketball is welcoming in four-star 2025 center Malachi Moreno out of Great Crossing (Kentucky) for an unofficial visit during the Miami (OH) football game on Sept. 16.
On3's Joe Tipton reported the visit as Cincinnati looks to keep stacking elite hardwood talent. For what it's worth, On3 has Cincinnati as the second-leading team in his recruitment (11% chance to land Moreno).
The site also has Moreno ranked 48th nationally and seventh among centers. Cincinnati offered him last August.
Moreno is a walking double-double whenever he touches the floor at 6-foot-11. He has sweet feet on post moves and the length to bang with all types of big men in the Big 12.
He clearly needs to put on a little weight for some of those larger matchups, but that will come, and he's performed well against high-level competition his age. You can't teach the type of soft touch Moreno displays on the offensive end.
