Three-Star 2024 Offensive Lineman Jayce Mitchell Commits to Cincinnati

CINCINNATI — UC football added another talent to the 2024 recruiting class after official visits this weekend. Three-star Destrehan (Louisiana) offensive lineman Jayce Mitchell became the second blocker to commit to UC in this class.

According to On3, Mitchell is the 1,067th-ranked player nationally and the 87th-ranked interior offensive lineman.

He held offers from schools like Georgia Tech, and Cal. Mitchell is the first Louisiana recruit to commit to Cincinnati in this class. UC offered him back in February

He could edge the Bearcats back into the top-40 class rankings on 247Sports after they fell double-digit spots due to the loss of four-star Qua Birdsong.

Mitchell primarily plays right tackle for Destrehan at 6-foot-4, 285 pounds.
