Noah Mikhail Enjoys Notre Dame Visit, Excited For Irish Offer

In this story:
It was a weekend to remember for Notre Dame football during their dominant 35-14 victory over the University of Clemson. It was also a weekend to remember for a large number of recruits who were on campus, including La Verne (Calif.) Bonita 2025 linebacker Noah Mikhail.
The California native made a ton of memories during his return visit to campus. On top of watching the Notre Dame victory, and experiencing a game day first hand, Mikhail was also offered by the staff while on the visit.
He was met with elation when the offer was extended.
“Getting the offer was amazing,” Mikhail explained. “I’ve been a Notre Dame fan since I was young. My parents and I were sitting with Coach (James) Laurinaitis and getting to know him more when he offered me, it was special.”
That offer was not the only highlight of Mikhail’s weekend. There were many moments that stuck with him.
“My visit to Notre Dame was great,” he said. “This was my second time being on campus but first time as a recruit. My favorite part was the time I got with all the coaches.
“I got to meet and talk with Coach Laurinaitis, Coach (Al) Golden, and Coach (Marcus) Freeman. I also spent time with Caleb Davis. It’s all about relationships for me so the time I got was important and I look forward to building those relationships more.”
Then there was the game. It was a tremendous opportunity to see Notre Dame take their game to another level. The atmosphere and energy around that matchup stuck with Mikhail.
“The atmosphere was amazing, the crowd and student section was loud on their feet the whole game,” Mikhail explained. “To be at a big game like that was a lot of fun and then to watch them play so well and together as a team was awesome.”
As a lifelong Notre Dame fan, you could imagine how much this weekend meant to him. Only finishing up his sophomore season, Mikhail is set for taking the recruiting process slow. Notre Dame is one of the top programs who has made an impact on him thus far.
“Recruiting has been good so far, it’s early for me still and building relationships and finding the right fit is important,” he said. “Other schools that have been recruiting and building strong relationships with me are USC, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Washington, and Tennessee.”
An elite talent, it promises to be a dog fight for Mikhail. The Clemson weekend was just a start to the relationship building between him and the Notre Dame staff.
Mikhail is considered a consensus four-star recruit on every major recruiting platform. On 247Sports, he is considered as the No. 20 overall player and the No. 2 linebacker in the 2025 recruiting class. They also rank him as the No. 2 player in the state of California in the cycle.
From an offer perspective, Mikhail has a quickly expanding list. Some of his more notable offers include the Irish, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas A&M, USC, Oregon, Washington, Arkansas, Arizona State, Cal, Boston College, Arizona, and Colorado among others.
In ten games, the 6-3, 205-pound linebacker has been an absolute menace for Bonita. He led the team with 112 total tackles and 13 tackles for loss. Mikhail also registered three sacks, an interception, three forced fumbles and four pass breakups.
