Since then, Suntarine Perkins has become a five-star-plus player, and Walker Howard has transferred to Ole Miss from the LSU Tigers. That makes the main reason for the doom and gloom that was Marcel Reed's flip to Texas A&M irrelevant. Add Ayden Williams and Braxton Myers, and you have a solid, if small, recruiting haul for Lane Kiffin before National Signing Day.
In the second segment of the show, we discuss Chamberlain Campbell and his signing day eve commitment to the Rebs and what he brings. We talk about his pluses, and we talk about things that need some work. That transitions us into the new reality of the transfer portal: getting burned developing an athlete. We will see, but, if he develops, he could be really good.
In our final segment of the day, we talk about what this roster needs, and with Pete Golding being hired, there were always going to be clunky fits at positions. We discuss the "Jack" position, a defensive end and linebacker hybrid, and why Ole Miss is recruiting 2024 defensive ends so heavily. We also talk about linebacker for the 2023 season as well as the punter position.
