TCU Football at Texas Tech: Staff Predictions And Game Previews

The TCU Horned Frogs (4-4, 2-3) are coming off of a bye week after playing the disastrous game against Kansas State in Week 8.

Which version of this year's team will show up for a Thursday night game in Lubbock? Night games against Texas Tech always are always unpredictable. The game is Thursday, November 2, at 6 p.m. CT and can be seen on FS1.

TCU and Tech have a competitive history. This will be the 66th time the two have met, dating back to 1926. Tech holds a slight edge at 32-30-3. Though since the Frogs joined the Big 12 in 2012, TCU has a 7-4 edge. TCU has won the last four in Lubbock.

Tech is currently a 2.5-point favorite per SISportsbook.com. But how does our staff feel the game will go?

In Week 8, eight of our staff picked TCU for the upset in Manhattan. Andrew, one of the four who correctly picked K-State, came the closest with his prediction. He is also at the top of our leaderboard and is 5-3 on the season. Again this week, our staff was not unanimous, with seven picking TCU and five picking Tech.
