It was a tough week for UCLA, first dropping a road game last Monday against the number 16-ranked Utah Utes, 94-81, which gave them their second loss of the season. They then dropped their latest game on Sunday to the unranked Washington State Cougars at home, 85-82.
The Bruins endured two tough losses that saw them drop five spots from the number #2 spot to the #7 spot. UCLA now sits at 16-3 in the season and remains in a great spot to capture the final Pac-12 regular season title.
The Stanford Cardinal are the only team in the conference ahead of them, sitting at 19-2, ranked at number four. Ten games are remaining for the Bruins, and they still have a shot at finishing higher in the AP Polls.
Three losses or not, the Bruins are still one of the best and most exciting teams in the NCAAW division. They have a shot at nabbing the NCAA Tournament title if they play the way they have been through most of this season.
