UCLA Women's Basketball Vs Colorado: How To Watch, Odds, Predictions, And More

In this story:
For the first time in Colorado basketball history, men or women, the No. 3/3 Buffs are hosting a top-5 matchup as No. 5/5 UCLA will try to rebound from its first loss of the season to No. 4/6 USC.
How to Watch
Tipoff between the Bruins and Buffs is set for 5 p.m. PST at the CU Events Center and will air on Pac-12 Los Angeles.
Odds
UCLA is a -1.5 favorite according to FanDuel and the total over/under is set at 142.5.
Both teams have only one loss this season but UCLA is looking at Colorado who is all alone at the top of the Pac-12 standings.
Predictions
The Bruins will need to step up in several ways if they want to steal a win on the road. Most importantly, they need to take care of the ball. In their last game, the Bruins turned the ball over 22 and allowed their opponent to score 23 points on turnovers. They shot a season-low .182 from behind the three-point line (4-for-22) and only had nine offensive rebounds, also a season-worst.
Despite their loss to the Trojans, UCLA will rebound in a close one.

More
UCLA also needs to come out energized in the first half and figure out a way to maintain steady production through both quarters. Against the Trojans, the Bruins were held to eight points in the first quarter and 11 in the second.
“Most of the time, the more urgent, aggressive team wins, and that wasn’t us. Everybody has a portion of the blame, and we didn’t execute to get the ball inside. We didn’t do a lot of different things.”

A healthy Lauren Betts could help tip the ball UCLA's way. The 6-foot-7, sophomore center played limited minutes against USC due to an unspecified illness. She leads the team with 15.6 points per game, 8.6 rebounds per game, 2.2 blocks per game, and a .712 field goal percentage which leads the conference and the NCAA.
