The Virginia men's basketball season is quickly approaching, but Tony Bennett and his staff are still working hard on the recruiting trail. Just in the last week, the Cavaliers have extended scholarship offers to three new recruits in three different classes and picked up a verbal commitment from one of them, 2024 shooting guard Ishan Sharma. The busy recruiting activity continued on Thursday evening as 2025 four-star combo guard Adrien Stevens announced he received an offer from Virginia during an unofficial visit.

A 6'4" combo guard out of The Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland, Stevens is rated a four-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite, which also ranks Stevens as the No. 100 overall recruit in the class of 2025, the No. 14 combo guard in the country, and the No. 2 player in the state of Maryland.

Stevens holds offers from more than 20 schools, including several major conference programs. In offering Stevens, Virginia is jumping in the mix with Maryland, Villanova, Marquette, Xavier, Providence, Butler, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, Mississippi State, Stanford, and others. In the last few months, Stevens has taken unofficial visits to Virginia Tech, Maryland, Marquette, and now Virginia.
