Jordan Domineck has been receiving a good deal of NFL buzz. The Colorado Buffaloes linebacker has heard from a majority of teams around the league, but at least one has shown repeated interest. Before he participated in Pro Day with the Denver Broncos this weekend, Domineck was brought in for a full interview with team executives and representatives a month ago.

“The experience was amazing on the visit," Domineck told BuffsBeat. "I met a lot of the defensive coaching staff and the people in the building that helped make things run smoothly. They truly made me feel right at home, and I was able to see a couple people’s lockers I have played with or grew up with which really gave me a boost in confidence. To be able to see the people I was around be so successful is amazing, and to get the chance to earn that opportunity is something I'm truly grateful for.”

The 6-foot-2, 240-pounder has an impressive college resume. After productive stops at Georgia Tech and Arkansas, he finished his college career at Colorado. Domineck recorded 51 total tackles (12 for loss), five sacks, five QB hits, two PDUs, and a fumble recovery this past season. He's ready for the next stop in his career and elated for another Pro Day.

“This upcoming workout I’m also excited and blessed with the opportunity to attend," Domineck said. "I'm glad to know I left a good enough impression to earn myself a spot in their workout and I'm going to go out there and do my best to give them a reason to take me in the upcoming draft. It truly is an amazing experience and I couldn't be more grateful to them and their staff for the opportunities they have presented to me!”

Being able to stay in Colorado would be outstanding for Domineck. The Florida native has adjusted to playing at altitude and would be a great addition for the Broncos rotation. “It would mean the world honestly," Domineck noted. "To even get the opportunity in the league would be a blessing.”

"To be alongside people I grew up with while also being right down the road from my college I attended would be amazing. Being able to go back and talk to everyone in college, attend football games and keep the connections I have with the coaches and players i know on that team strong and offer guidance would be phenomenal! I would also have a whole other source of information for me through the coaches there, so that would be another huge benefit!”

Domineck is focused on doing everything in his power to make his dreams come true. An opportunity of a lifetime for one of the most humble Buffs players. He's just waiting for name to be called every Sunday. The 2024 NFL Draft starts on Thursday, April 25 from Detroit.
