Colorado Avalanche's MacKinnon takes on Olympic speed skater

Hockey players can complete a lap around the rink in just under 14 seconds. Speed skaters can reach average speeds up to 33 mph. But how do they compare when it comes to acceleration in the first five strides? To put it to the test, CCM enlisted Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon and Canadian short track speed skater Charles Hamelin to take part in their Tacks Challenge. Watch as the NHL Rookie of the Year and the three-time Olympic Gold medalist go head-to-head to see who can accelerate faster.
