Conor McGregor is known for stirring the pot, and he did so in a major way on the set of "The Ultimate Fighter" season 31.

McGregor and Michael Chandler will be serving as opposing coaches on TUF 31, which premieres on ESPN on May 30. Before the new season begins airing, the UFC released a teaser trailer on social media.

In the trailer, McGregor and Chandler get into a heated staredown with words exchanged. The teaser then shows McGregor violently shoving Chandler inside the Octagon in the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

There is no date set for McGregor vs. Chandler. The two are supposed to collide sometime this year. McGregor has been out of action since July 2021 when he broke his tibia and fibula in a trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier.

The "Notorious" one hasn't emerged victorious in a pro MMA fight since January 2020. He's also gone 1-3 in his last four outings, so while McGregor still has a megastar presence and the gift of gab, fans are wondering if he can return to his winning ways in the UFC.

As for Chandler, he's also gone 1-3 in his last four fights. He's coming off a submission loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 281 last year. Chandler's last win was a highlight reel knockout over Tony Ferguson courtesy of a front kick.
