SCORES AND RANKINGS

Sanctioned Division Rankings

1. Rector (6-0)

Another outstanding offensive performance helped the Cougars remain undefeated, but the defense was lock down and pitched its second shutout of the season.

2. Strong (6-0)

Strong received a win via Hermitage's forfeiture.

 3. Spring Hill (6-2)

The game with Marvell-Elaine started almost an hour after the scheduled time, but the Bears got out to a quick 30-0 lead late in the first quarter and both coaches agreed to enforce the sportsmanship rule that eventually led to Spring Hill's 46-12 win.

4. Woodlawn (4-2)

The Bears were itching to get back onto the field after not being able to play last week due to a forfeit by Hermitage, plus they were coming off of back-to-back losses. They took the frustrations out on Dermott, scoring a season-high 70 points.

5. Izard County Consolidated (4-3)

The Cougars were on a bye. They host Augusta on Thursday.

(Mountain Pine, Brinkley)

Club Division Rankings

1. Mountain View (7-0)

The Yellowjackets are one win away from back-to-back undefeated regular seasons following a 52-14 win over Marshall as they are just a few steps away from another club championship.

2. Subiaco Academy (7-1)

The current win streak is now at five for the Trojans following their rout of Fountain Lake. Subiaco's rush attack has been fierce and the Cobras found out, as they surrendered 500 yards on the ground.

3. Cutter-Morning Star (5-2)

The Eagles have had two of the season's more jaw-dropping finishes. After rallying from 24 points down midway through the fourth quarter last week, Cutter survived a back-and-forth basketball-esk finish against Parkers Chapel thanks to Michael Sexson's kickoff return for the go-ahead score with less than 30 seconds left.

4. Corning (5-3)

Corning's defense snagged an incredible seven interceptions in Friday's lopsided victory over Rose Bud. Quarterback Seth Smith returned after being injured last week and helped the Bobcats to a season-high 70 points.

5. Genoa Central (4-2)

The Dragons rebounded from an ultra-frustrating loss to Cutter-Morning Star and squeaked past Mountain Pine on the road by six points, led by a passing attack that put up over 300 yards. They host No. 2 Subiaco Academy on Friday for our Game of the Week.
