Elijah Brown threw for two touchdowns and Ajon Bryant added two rushing scores to lead Power 25 No. 5 Mater Dei to a 42-14 rout of visiting Sierra Canyon on Friday night in the semifinals of the Southern Section Division 1 playoffs.

With the the win, the Monarchs (9-1) advance to their seven straight D1 section title game where they will face No. 2 St. John Bosco.

Bryant bolted for a 55-yard touchdown on Mater Dei’s second possession and he finished with 108 yards rushing on just 10 carries.
