Florida State grads earn highest average NFL salaries in Florida

High school football players have many things to consider when selecting a college where they will continue their athletic and academic careers, and if future NFL earnings is high on that list, Florida State may require a little more attention from top recruits looking to play college football in the Sunshine State.
According to a survey by Canada Sports Betting, Florida State ranks No. 1 in Florida, and No. 7 nationally, in average NFL Salary for its graduates at $18,182,595.00. This is 58% higher than the national average of $11,462,845.00 per player.
The University of Miami ranks second in Florida (20th overall) at $14,957,246, followed by Florida (29th overall) at $13,045,534, Central Florida (54th overall) at $8,639,206 and Florida Atlantic (64th overall) at $5,415,940.
The University of California, Berkley, the alma mater of Aaron Rodgers, tops the national list with an average salary of $38,242,817 per player. Of course this number is skewed by the fact that Rodgers is the highest-earning active player in the NFL and has earned approximately $306 million in his career.
