Minnesota High School Boys Basketball State Championship Scores, Live Updates, Recaps - March 28

MINNEAPOLIS - The 2026 Minnesota high school boys basketball state tournament concludes on Saturday at Williams Arena with four state championship games.
The day begins with the Class 1A championship and ends with the Class 4A championship game.

CLASS 1A CHAMPIONSHIP
No. 2 Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton vs. No. 5 Hills-Beaver Creek
Hills-Beaver Creek dominated JWP in the Class 1A title game to give the Patriots their first title win in program history.
The Patriots' defense held the Bulldogs to nine points in the first half. The Bulldogs went 3-for-24 in the first half, and they could no recover in the second half.
Hills-Beaver Creek senior Jamin Metzger led all scorers with 22 points. Gavin Bauer led JWP with 11 points.
CLASS 3A CHAMPIONSHIP
No. 1 Totino-Grace vs. No. 2 DeLaSalle
“There is a standard here,” Totino-Grace senior forward Dothan Ijadimbola said. “For me to go out on that standard, it means a lot to me. I couldn’t have done it without these guys and the guys in the locker room. These guys meant so much to me the entire year.”
CLASS 2A CHAMPIONSHIP
No. 1 Goodhue vs. No. 3 Minnehaha Academy
The Redhawks won their sixth state championship in program history thanks to 24 points from junior Kellen Troup and 21 points from junior Ayden Green.
After shooting poorly in the first half, but only trailing by two points at halftime, the Redhawks shot 17-of-26 in the second half. They also went to the free throw line 19 times in the second half, and they made 14 of them.
The Redhawks also out rebounded Goodhue 40-29 in the game.
Sophomore Alex Loos scored 25 points for Goodhue, and senior Luke Roschen scored 22 points.

No. 5 Chaska vs. No. 7 Apple Valley
