Deshonne Redeaux, nation's No. 4 running back, has 'amazing' Washington Huskies visit

Oaks Christian (California) four-star running back Deshonne Redeaux is one of the nation's best young sprinters

Oaks Christian (California) four-star running back Deshonne Redeaux is among the most compelling 2026 athletes in the country.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound speedster is rated the nation's No. 4 running back in his class and clocked a 10.42 100-meter dash and a 21.32 200-meter time in the spring - both tops in the state of California for his age.

Redeaux already holds double-digit scholarship offers, highlighted by Alabama, Georgia. Miami, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, USC, Washington and others.

Over the weekend, the California product made the trip to Seattle to check out the Washington Huskies, who caught his eye due to their rise under Kalen DeBoer.

And it was worth the trip.

"It was amazing," Redeaux said. "The thing that stood out was the atmosphere, environment and the staff."

He enjoyed it so much, in fact, that he anticipates making another visit to the Northwest.

"I would make a return trip, because Washington treated me with a lot of care and I appreciated them for that," Redeaux said.

While his schedule is still up in the air, the Oaks Christian star could either make a return visit to USC this weekend or head to Alabama.

He'll know for certain in the coming days.

Either way, Redeaux is clearly beginning to sort through his options, and Washington has made an early impression.
