Ron Washington put on the hit and run in the top of the ninth inning of the Rangers' 4-3 win over the A's Monday night. Michael Choice was on first with no one out. Elvis Andrus was at the plate with a 1-1 count. Choice took off with Dan Otero's pitch. The A's pitched out, but Andrus would not leave his slow-footed teammate hanging. So, the above happened (gif courtesy FanGraphs' Drew Sheppard).

The result was Choice's first major league stolen base as A's catcher John Jaso one-upped Andrus's swing by throwing the ball ten feet over the shortstop and into center field (gif courtesy Kazuto Yamazaki).
