Yankees retire Joe Torre's number

The Yankees retired former skipper Joe Torre's number on Saturday, in a celebration that featured several Yankee greats including Yogi Berra, Paul O’Neill, Tino Martinez and Andy Pettitte.

In 12 seasons with the Yankees, Torre won four World Series championships and two American League pennants. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in July. "It feels like the World Series all over again," said Torre, about his number being retired. "It is a feeling I can't describe."
