The Indians got a MVP season in 2020 from third basemen Jose Ramirez, and if there is one player the team needs to step up and be a leader at the plate and in the clubhouse in 2021 it's Ramirez. Now it's up to Ramirez to step up and get it done.
After an awful 2020 at the plate, Indians veteran catcher Roberto Perez is looking to bounce back in 2021 and have a big season both in hitting like he did in 2019 as well as helping out his pitching staff.
James Karinchak quickly became a fan favorite in 2020, and this season he's going to have an even bigger chance to have an impact for the Indians, as with two weeks before the start of the 2021 season, Karinchak remains the team's closer.
The Indians starting pitching continues to be their strength of their team as they embark on the 2021 season. With Cy Young award winner Shane Bieber at the top of the rotation, the club is hoping they can use their rotation to challenge in the AL Central
