Barry Zito opens up on rooting against Giants during 2010 WS

In his memoir, “Curveball: How I Discovered True Fulfillment After Chasing Fame and Fortune,” former Cy Young Award winner Barry Zito admits to rooting against his own team, the San Francisco Giants, while they were on their way to winning the 2010 World Series which left him off the postseason roster. Zito tells SI Now’s Amy Campbell that until he helped win the 2012 World Series, he thought he’d never be able to show up to San Francisco again.
