Conor McGregor got pulled over for speeding, officer asked for selfie
UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor got pulled over for speeding, and instead of writing him a ticket, the officer asked him for a selfie, he said in an interview with SI Films.
“He looked at the driver’s license, looked at me and said, ‘Do you mind if I jump in your passenger seat for a selfie?’” McGregor said.
After the photo was taken, McGregor recalls that he was thanked by the officer and allowed to drive away without a ticket.
“Off I went at 200 mph,” said McGregor, who will fight Nate Diaz in a welterweight bout at UFC 196 on March 5.
McGregor, 27, has knocked out each of his past five opponents.
