With league founders Peyton, Eli and Archie Manning on hand, Dallas Davis Sr. licked the competition in the first-ever Oreo Double Stuf Racing League (DSRL) "Lick Race," to earn the $10,000 grand prize.

Davis Sr. twisted, licked, dunked and ate his cookie in 27 seconds, faster than any of the 10 other teams of two people each.

In the DSRL, which the Mannings founded in January, competitors must twist their Oreo, lick off the icing (officials watch closely for the illegal use of teeth or lips) and dunk the cookie in a glass of milk. They then eat the remaining cookie and drink the milk.

"I was so shocked I got all the cream off so quickly, I just stared at the cookie for a second or two," Davis Sr. said. "Then I remembered I was in the race and got right back into it."

Davis Sr., who competed with his son Dallas Davis Jr., said the pair's experience as firemen in Dayton, Ohio, helped them train and prepare for the competition.

"We're used to eating quickly and jumping on the truck," Davis Sr. said. "If you don't, you never know who stole your food when you come back."
