Aaron Rodgers Looked Like His Old Self Throwing a Nice Pass at Jets Practice

The New York Jets gave NFL fans a snippet of how quarterback Aaron Rodgers is doing in OTAs on Wednesday since returning to play, and it appears that he's pretty much back to normal.

Rodgers tore his Achilles on the first drive of his first Jets game back in September. He had surgery to repair the tear eight months ago. And now, he's back to throwing darts to his teammates, like tight end Tyler Conklin in the video posted by the Jets.

This video appears to be the first one released by the team since Rodgers has been able to return to practicing before the 2024 season.

Jets coach Robert Saleh previously told media that Rodgers would have "no restrictions" in Phase Three of the OTAs, which the Jets are coming up on now. Rodgers will participate in non-contact work throughout the OTA, and potentially be fully ready for action come training camp in July.

Rodgers, who won Super Bowl XLV with the Green Bay Packers in 2010, will enter year 20 of his NFL career in 2024. He is currently fifth all-time in passing touchdowns, ninth in passing yards, and first in passer rating among quarterbacks that meet minimum leaderboard requirements.
