Steelers' rookie Jarvis Jones became the second AFC North linebacker in two weeks to be sent to the hospital with a chest injury. The injury came in the fourth quarter Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs when Jones intercepted a pass that was later called back on a penalty.
The rookie linebacker from Georgia was originally listed as questionable to return, but wound up being taken to a local hospital for tests.
The team confirmed Jones was being evaluated for a chest injury but did not indicate the type of injury or the severity.
Pittsburgh Press-Gazette reporter Ed Bouchette reported on Twitter that the Steelers were just be cautious by sending Jones to the hospital.
