Last season, the New Orleans Saints went 11-5, finished second in the NFC South and fell to the eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. They drafted wide receiver Brandin Cooks in the first round of this year’s draft. New Orleans signed safety Jairus Byrd in free agency and re-signed right tackle Zach Strief.
