PSLs at Falcons' new stadium to cost as much as $45,000

ATLANTA (AP) The Atlanta Falcons announced Thursday fans will be asked to pay one-time fees of as much as $45,000 for the right to purchase club-level tickets in the team's new stadium.

Team officials presented the personal seat license plan to the Georgia World Congress Center Authority Board.

Construction is underway for a new stadium to replace the Georgia Dome in the 2017 season. The PSLs will go on sale Monday.

The Falcons have not previously required PSLs. The team says revenue from the PSLs will be applied to the development and construction of the new stadium.

The $45,000 PSLs are for ''Founders Club'' seats with ''all-inclusive amenities.'' Other club-level PSLs will cost $10,000, $15,000 or $20,000, depending on the seat location.

PSL prices for other seats have not been announced.

By purchasing a PSL, fans are guaranteed a set price on season tickets for the 2017-19 seasons. The ownership right, which can be transferred or sold, will extend at least 30 years, through the duration of the stadium lease.

PSL owners also have the priority on tickets for non-NFL events held at the new stadium.

The sale of PSLs for the club-level seats is expected to last five months.
