Panthers CB Bene Benwikere suffers fractured leg

Carolina Panthers cornerback Bene Benwikere suffered a fractured leg in his team’s 38–0 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, the team announced after the game.

Benwikere had to be carted off the field after suffering the injury during the fourth quarter. 

He started the game for the Panthers in place of injured cornerback Charles Tillman, who has missed four-straight games with a knee injury.

Tillman was listed as doubtful on the Week 14 injury report.

Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls out for season with broken ankle

Veteran Cortland Finnegan is currently listed as the third-string cornerback on the Panthers depth chart. 

The Panthers (13–0) play the New York Giants (5–7) on the road next Sunday.
