Patriots safety Devin McCourty left Sunday night’s game against the Texans with an ankle injury and is questionable to return, the team announced.

McCourty was taken to the locker room for X-rays, NBC’s Michelle Tafoya reported during the game.

McCourty has missed just three games in six NFL seasons since the Patriots took him in the first round of the 2010 draft. Duron Harmon, a third-year player from Rutgers, replaced McCourty at safety.

Earlier in the game, Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount left with a hip injury and was ruled out for the night.
