Browns Release Inactive List for Jets HOF Game

Cleveland Browns have released their inactive list for the Pro Football Hall of Fame game.

The inactive list for tonight’s matchup with the New York Jets is as long as you would expect it to be for the Cleveland Browns. Cleveland ruled out 37 players for the Po Football Hall of Fame game.

Two things will pop off quickly, running back Jerome Ford is inactive, and looks to have a lock on the backup running back job. You will see that defensive tackle Jordan Elliott is active, as the only listed starter on the offense or defense.

As expected, starters are resting for both teams. It will be Kellen Mond starting at quarterback for the Browns, while Zach Wilson starts for the Jets.

Both teams will give their young guys and end of the roster players all of the opportunity tonight. 

Kickoff is expected to be around 8 p.m. in Canton. This game marks the start of the preseason and the beginning of the 2023 campaign.
