David Beckham and his son, Brooklyn, were involved in a car accident Saturday morning in Hertfordshire, England, according to The Telegraph.

Beckham, 39, was picking up Brooklyn, 15, outside Arsenal's training facility in Hertfordshire. Brooklyn plays for Arsenal's under-16 team, and had just finished a match vs. Brighton's under-16 team.

Both Beckhams walked away from the incident without serious injuries, despite the airbags deploying.

A source close to Beckham said: “They were shaken. It was quite a heavy prang at quite a speed but everybody walked away uninjured. Everybody’s fine. Thankfully the car’s airbags deployed.”

Brooklyn signed a short-term contract with Arsenal's under-16 team in November. His brothers, 12-year-old Romeo and nine-year-old Cruz, have also been playing for the club's underage teams.

Beckham retired in 2013 after a 20-year career. He played for MLS side LA Galaxy from 2007-12, but spent most of his career with Manchester United. Beckham also played four years with Real Madrid.
