Manny Pacquiao's Representative Calls Rumored Fight 'A Sick Joke'

Not long after an adviser for Floyd Mayweather Jr. raised hopes that Mayweather had a May 5 date set for a fight against Manny Pacquiao, a representative for Pacquio has seemingly shot them back down, according to a report on ESPNLosAngeles.com.

According to the report, Pacquiao representative and Top Rank CEO Bob Arum addressed the reports on 710 ESPN's Mason And Ireland Show:

"The fact that he makes an announcement, picks the date, picks the site, shows me that he's not serious. Why did he do it? Well, one, he wanted to take the limelight away from Manny, which all he's done is create more interest in the Marquez fight. ... And secondly they figured they'd pull my chain and make me react. ... It's just a sick joke."
