Ex-UVA lacrosse player George Huguely found guilty in murder of Yeardley Love
Former University of Virginia lacrosse player George Huguely was found guilty by a jury of second-degree murder in the death of his ex-girlfriend Yeardley Love, the Associated Press reports.
Huguely was also convicted of grand larceny and faces up to 60 years in prison. Jurors immediately began hearing testimony in Huguely's sentencing. Love was found dead in her campus apartment in May of 2010. It was determined that her cause of death was blunt force trauma.
