Demorrio Williams Agrees To One-Year Deal With Chargers

Linebacker Demorrio Williams, released Tusesday by the Kansas City Chiefs, agreed to terms today on a one-year contract with the San Diego Chargers, according to ESPN.

Williams is expected to add depth to the Chargers' roster at linebacker behind starters Takeo Spikes and Donald Butler.

Williams, 31, was the Atlanta Falcons' fourth-round pick in the 2004 draft. He spent four seasons in Atlanta and four in Kansas City; the Chiefs cut him loose this week to save $2 million in salary cap space.
