One thing's for sure: Jurickson Profar didn't waster his first chance in the big leagues. The 19-year-old shortstop hit a home run in his first at bat this afternoon, just two days after being called up from AA Frisco by the Texas Rangers.

Facing a 2-1 count against Cleveland Indians righty Zach McAllister, Profar smacked a 388-foot shot that sailed over the right field wall. Profar is the youngest player in the Major Leagues this season, among the youngest ever to hit a home run in an MLB game, and the youngest player ever to play for the Texas Rangers.

He is ranked as the #4 overall prospect in Baseball, according to MLB.com, which also has video of his home run.
