Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier said Friday that Adrian Peterson is "doubtful" for Sunday. Peterson is currently dealing with dual injuries, having issues with both his groin and foot.

He sat out the Vikings' practices Tuesday and Wednesday and was limited in practice Thursday. Peterson said Thursday that he hoped to suit up against the Lions on Sunday, but needed to see how he felt before making the decision.

Peterson said that his body is "just not responding" right now. If Peterson does not play Sunday, he will end his 2013 season with 1,266 yards and ten touchdowns on 279 carries.

Frazier also ruled out backup running back Toby Gerhart, who is dealing with a hamstring injury.
