Nationals third baseman Ryan Zimmerman left Saturday night's game early with a fractured right thumb. James Wagner of the Washington Post is reporting Zimmerman will be out 4-6 weeks with the injury.

Zimmerman landed awkwardly while diving back into the second base bag. There was blood on his hand and he left for the clubhouse with a trainer.

He was out earlier this week with an arthritic surgery that caused him to miss Tuesday's game against the Marlins.

With Zimmerman out, Anthony Rendon moved to third base and Danny Espinosa came on to play second base.
