Guus Hiddink's prospects of joining Juventus have increased after being allowed to leave his post as Russia coach, according to reports out of Russia.

Hiddink reportedly has been given permission by the Russian authorities to coach a club team, as he did with Chelsea last year.

"Hiddink can coach a club side," said Russian sports minister Vitaly Mutko. "In the case of Chelsea, there were particular rapports with Roman Abramovich and we accepted, but I don't think things will change in this case."

As things stand, there have been no confirmed reports claiming a deal with Juventus has been reached, but Goal.com Italia has learned there may be talks taking place with Hiddink.

Jean-Claude Blanc is reportedly meeting with Roberto Bettega Monday evening to discuss matters going forwards.

Juventus has not confirmed any reports, with sporting director Alessio Secco avoiding questions earlier on Monday.
