Landon Donovan had no problem making fun of himself this summer, starring in a hilarious EA Sports commercial that put his U.S. men's national team World Cup snub in a comedic light.

In Foot Locker's new "Short Memory" series ad, Donovan responds to NBA star James Harden's questioning about how his summer was, given his roster snub. Donovan's response? "It was sick! ... They can't cut me! I'm the captain ... Like they'd ever cut me..." (Either the producers or Donovan really do have short memories, because he was never the USA's anointed captain. But that's neither here nor there.)
