Germany and France face off in the Euro 2016 semifinal on Thursday in Marseille.
One win away from the championship, France aims to win another major tournament on its home soil against a German side that comes in somewhat depleted.
Germany will be without midfielder Sami Khedira, leading scorer Mario Gomez and possibly captain Bastian Schweinsteiger due to injury, as well as defender Mats Hummels because of suspension.
Their depth will be tested against France, who have rounded into form in the knockout rounds and scored five goals in their last match against Iceland. The French attack is led by Antoine Griezmann, who leads the tournament with four goals, and Olivier Giroud and Dimitri Payet with three scores apiece.
The winner will face Portugal in Sunday’s final.
