The Kansas State women's basketball team opens its regular season on Friday against Tennessee State and has an interesting promotion to entice fans.
According to the school's official Twitter page, free bacon will be given to everyone in attendance, beginning an hour before tipoff. The school initially ordered 75 pounds of thick-cut bacon, it told ESPN's Darren Rovell. But social media activity caused it to increase that amount to 300 pounds. The school told Rovell that each student will receive "a boat of bacon."
