Oklahoma State guard Marcus Smart has been suspended for three game after shoving an opposing fan during the team's game Saturday night, according to ESPN's Jeff Goodman.

Smart shoved Texas Tech fan Jeff Orr at the end of the team's loss to Texas Tech, and said the he took full responsibility for the incident. Oklahoma State's radio announcers reported Smart said the fan used a racial slur preceding the altercation, although Cowboys coach Travis Ford said he did not wish to talk about what Orr said to upset Smart.

Texas Tech and Jeff Orr have released a statement in which Orr apologizes for calling Smart 'a piece of crap,' but denies using any racial slurs. Orr has agreed not to attend any Red Raiders games for the remainder of the season. The school also released a brief video from underneath the basket where the altercation occurred.

Oklahoma State has had disciplinary trouble already this season, dismissing  freshman guard Stevie Clark from the team earlier this month after he was arrested for a second time this season.

Smart's first game back after the suspension will be at home against Texas Tech.
