Dallas Mavericks star forward Anthony Davis has not played since Nov. 29 due to a calf injury, and he's expected to miss at least another week with the injury.

Davis was ruled out on Sunday against the Portland Trail Blazers, and he won't play on Monday against the Minnesota Timberwolves on the second night of a back-to-back.

Mavericks' Anthony Davis will miss at least 7 to 10 more days as he rehabs from a left calf strain.

In his five appearances this season, Davis is averaging 20.8 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game while shooting 52.0 percent from the field. Dallas has gotten off to a slow start in the 2025-26 campaingn, and both Davis and Kyrie Irving (ACL) recovery have been on the shelf.

While the Mavs did pick up a win on Sunday in overtime against Portland, they are 13.5-point underdogs on the second night of a back-to-back in Minnesota.

Dereck Lively II UNDER 5.5 Rebounds (-141)

There's a chance that Lively, who recently returned from an injury of his own, doesn't play on Monday, but if he does, I believe he's a fade candidate at this number.

Minnesota ranks 14th in the NBA in opponent rebounds per game, but Lively has played just 17 and 12 minutes in his two games since returning, grabbing eight total rebounds during that stretch. For the season, the former lottery pick is averaging just 4.6 boards per game.

Even with Davis out of the lineup, Lively is a hard player to trust as a rebound target since he's clearly on a bit of a minutes limit at the moment.
