Green Bay Packers star pass rusher Micah Parsons is listed as questionable for Week 1 against the Detroit Lions due to a back injury.

Parsons, who was acquired by the Packers in a trade with the Dallas Cowboys shortly before Week 1, is expected to play on Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and Rob Demovsky. However, it's unclear how big of a workload the four-time Pro Bowler will have.

“Micah Parsons will indeed make his Green Bay Packers debut Sunday against the Detroit Lions, with sources telling ESPN's Adam Schefter that the star pass rusher, who is listed as questionable because of a back injury, is expected to play in some capacity,” Demovsky wrote.

“Exactly how much is still to be determined, but it will not be a full workload, sources said.”

There has been some movement in the odds for this game that suggests that Parsons could be limited on Sunday. After the Packers skyrocketed to 2.5-point favorites in Week 1 against the Lions, they have fallen back to 1.5-point favorites on Sunday morning at DraftKings.

Having Parsons on the field will be a major boost to Green Bay's defense, but the impact the star pass rusher makes could be limited if he's on a pitch count. Parsons has only spent a few days with the Packers, practicing four times on a limited basis this week.
