The game wasn't the only thing Georgia lost against Clemson on Saturday. The Bulldogs also were without Malcolm Mitchell for most of the evening after he was injured celebrating running back Todd Gurley's first touchdown. And that celebration was even more costly: Mitchell will be out for the season after tearing his ACL, according to Head Coach Mark Richt.
Georgia star receiver Malcolm Mitchell has indeed torn his ACL and will miss the season, Mark Richt has confirmed.
