Illinois Fighting Illini vs. Ohio State Buckeyes
Ohio State has won five consecutive games since being upset at home by Virginia Tech on Sept. 6. Illinois won its first Big Ten conference game of the season last week when it beat Minnesota by four points. The Buckeyes have won 66 of their 100 total meetings with the Fighting Illini. Saturday's game is at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, where the Buckeyes have not lost a game in league play since Urban Meyer was hired prior to the 2012 season.

Oct. 25: Ohio State 31, Penn State 24 (OT)
Penn State scored 17 unanswered points after halftime to force overtime after allowing Ohio State to score two touchdowns and a field goal in the first half. Buckeyes running back Ezekiel Elliot carried 26 times for 109 yards and a touchdown, and quarterback J.T. Barrett added two rushing scores.
Oct. 18: Ohio State 56, Rutgers 17
The Buckeyes set a school record with their fourth consecutive game scoring 50 or more points. Tight end Nick Vannett caught two touchdown passes, a new career high. Quarterback J.T. Barrett ran for a career-high 107 yards on seven carries.
Oct. 4: Ohio State 52, Maryland 24
J.T. Barrett threw for 267 yards and four touchdowns on 23 pass attempts to spoil Maryland's Big Ten home debut. The Buckeyes gained 533 yards of total offense without committing a turnover. Ohio State's defense created four takeaways and held the Terrapins to just 66 yards rushing.
Sept. 27: Ohio State 50, Cincinnati 28
The Buckeyes amassed 710 yards of total offense in a convincing victory. J.T. Barrett completed 26 of 36 pass attempts for 330 yards and four passing touchdowns and also rushed for 79 yards on 14 carries. Ohio State did not force a turnover defensively, but the Bucks limited Cincinnati to just 70 yards rushing.
Sept. 13: Ohio State 66, Kent State 0
J.T. Barrett tied an Ohio State record with six passing touchdowns while compiling 312 passing yards on 30 pass attempts. Running back Curtis Samuel gained 100 yards on 15 carries, including two touchdowns, and the Buckeyes outgained the Golden Flashes 628-126.
Sept. 6:Virginia Tech 35, Ohio State 21
The Buckeyes trailed by a 21-7 margin at halftime and were unable to complete a comeback in the second half. Ohio State committed three turnovers in the game and was just 4-for-16 on third down. J.T. Barrett completed just nine of his 29 pass attempts.
Aug. 30: Ohio State 34, Navy 17
Ohio State defeated Navy for its 25th consecutive regular season win. No Buckeyes player attempted more than 12 rushes in the game but Ohio State had 194 yards and a touchdown on the ground, while the defense also produced a touchdown on a 61-yard fumble return by Darron Lee.
Illinois
Oct. 25: Illinois 28, Minnesota 24
Illinois quarterback Reilly O'Toole completed 14 of 21 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown and added 59 yards and a score on the ground. The Gophers took a three-point lead with a David Cobb rushing touchdown in the third quarter, but the Fighting Illini pulled ahead when V'Angelo Bentley returned a fumble for a touchdown.
Oct. 11: Wisconsin 38, Illinois 28
Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon carried 27 times for 175 yards and four touchdowns, and Corey Clement added 164 yards and a score on the ground. The Badgers took a 38-14 lead on a Clement touchdown in the fourth quarter, but Illinois scored two touchdowns with under 10 minutes remaining.
Oct. 4:Purdue 38, Illinois 27
Freshman wide receiver Mike Dudek had 200 yards on eight catches, both of which were career highs. The Illini defense yielded 551 yards to the struggling Purdue offense. Junior running back Josh Ferguson tied his career high with 10 receptions, totaling 79 receiving yards to go along with 60 rushing yards.
Sept. 27:Nebraska 45, Illinois 14
The Illinois defense gave up 624 total yards of offense to Nebraska, including 458 rushing yards. Reilly O'Toole got the start at quarterback in place of the injured Wes Lunt and threw for 261 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. Illinois allowed Nebraska running back Ameer Abdullah to exceed 100 yards just nine minutes into the game.
Sept. 20: Illinois 42, Texas State 35
Running back Josh Ferguson recorded 233 total yards and three touchdowns, while Wes Lunt threw for 266 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Illinois committed just four penalties for 19 yards. The Fighting Illini orchestrated a fourth-quarter comeback for the third time this season, their most since 2001.
Sept. 13:Washington 44, Illinois 19
Illinois turned the ball over three times and allowed 464 yards to the Huskies offense. Geronimo Allison caught six passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns. Wes Lunt threw for 230 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
Sept. 6: Illinois 42, Western Kentucky 34
West Lunt had another great game with 456 yards passing, three touchdowns and an interception. Justin Hardee hauled in six catches for 110 yards and a touchdown, while Geronimo Allison added eight catches for 97 yards.
Aug. 30: Illinois 28, Youngstown State 17
Wes Lunt threw for 285 yards and four touchdowns. Lunt completed passes to nine different receivers and a different player caught each of the four touchdown passes: Mike Dudek, Martize Barr, Josh Ferguson and Jon Davis. The Fighting Illini scored 14 straight points in the fourth quarter to avoid the upset.
