Fifth-ranked TCU (8-1) looks for its fifth straight win when it travels to Kansas (3-6) in a Big 12 matchup on Saturday. TCU is coming off a 41-20 win over Kansas State, while the Jayhawks defeated Iowa State 34-14 last week to snap a five-game losing streak.

11/8: TCU 41, Kansas State 20
Quarterback TrevoneBoykin threw for 219 yards with one touchdown and ran for 123 yards and three touchdowns, including one where he flipped over a defender into the end zone. Running back Aaron Green added 171 yards and one touchdown. The Horned Frogs' defense held Kansas State to just 34 rushing yards.
11/1: TCU 31, West Virginia 30
A TCU field goal as time expired gave the Horned Frogs a win over West Virginia, the third straight close finish between the two teams as their previous two meetings went to overtime. With less than two minutes remaining, TrevoneBoykin’s 40-yard pass to KolbyListenbee helped set up the game-winning 37-yard field goal by Jaden Oberkrom.
10/25: TCU 82, Texas Tech 27
TCU routed Texas Tech by scoring a school-record 82 points, the second-most in a game by a Big 12 team. The Horned Frogs were led by quarterback Trevone Boykin, who threw seven touchdown passes, the most in TCU history. Running backs Aaron Green and Trevorris Johnson each rushed for 105 yards, and the Horned Frogs finished with 785 total yards.
10/18: TCU 42, Oklahoma State 9
Following the previous week’s fourth quarter loss to Baylor, TCU regrouped to rout Big 12 rival Oklahoma State. The Horned Frogs scored three touchdowns in the first quarter to jump to a 21-3 lead. Trevone Boykin threw for a career-high 410 yards in the win while wide receiver Josh Doctson had 225 yards on seven receptions.
10/11: Baylor 61, TCU 58
TCU was poised to upset No. 5 Baylor but blew a 21-point lead as Baylor came back in the final 11 minutes to win. The Horned Frogs were up 58-37 in the fourth quarter before Baylor running back Devin Chafin’s 7-yard touchdown run cut the lead to 58-44. From there, TCU’s defense allowed Baylor to complete a 92-yard and a 91-yard drive to tie the game 58-58. Baylor’s Chris Callahan kicked a 28-yard field goal as time expired to complete the comeback.
10/4: TCU 37, Oklahoma 33
In its Big 12 opener, TCU upset Oklahoma to win 37-33. The first three quarters each ended with tied scores, but Paul Dawson’s 41-yard interception return for a touchdown put the Horned Frogs ahead at 37-31, and their defense prevented the Sooners from scoring another touchdown. Trevone Boykin threw for 318 yards with two touchdowns and one interception and ran for 77 yards.
9/27: TCU 56, SMU 0
TCU shut out rival SMU with a win in the “Battle for the Iron Skillet.” The Horned Frogs outgained the Mustangs 614-245 in total offense, limiting SMU to only 89 rushing yards. Quarterback Trevone Boykin finished with 280 yards and four touchdowns while running back B.J. Catalon had 114 yards and one touchdown.
9/13: TCU 30, Minnesota 7
TCU’s defense forced five turnovers and limited Minnesota to 99 rushing yards in its 30-7 win. The Horned Frogs were up 30-7 before the Golden Gophers were finally able to score in the fourth quarter. TCU wide receiver Josh Doctson had two touchdowns in the first half, B.J. Catalon ran for one and Jaden Oberkrom contributed three field goals.
8/30: TCU 48, Samford 14
TCU’s season started with a 48-14 win over FCS team Samford. Quarterback Trevone Boykin threw two touchdowns and ran for one, finishing with 363 total yards. The Horned Frogs’ defense held the Bulldogs to just 56 yards passing and 87 yards rushing.
Kansas
11/8: Kansas 34, Iowa State 14
After five straight losses, Kansas pulled out a win against Iowa State, only its second Big 12 win in four years. The Jayhawks led 24-0 into the second quarter and the Cyclones were unable to catch up. Quarterback Michael Cummings threw for 278 yards and two touchdowns while running backs Corey Avery and Tony Pierson each ran for over 100 yards.
11/1: Baylor 60, Kansas 14
Kansas was routed by No. 13 Baylor and managed only two scores. Baylor scored eight times in the first half and led 39-7 at halftime. Kansas was held to only 16 rushing yards, while Baylor had 326. Michael Cummings went 21-for-30 for 288 yards and two touchdowns.
10/18: Texas Tech 34, Kansas 21
Both teams had identical 2-4, 0-3 Big 12 records going into the game, but Kansas couldn’t recover after Texas Tech got off to a 17-0 start. A 1-yard run by Michael Cummings at the end of the third quarter made it a one-possession game at 27-21, but Texas Tech’s Justin Stockton sealed the Red Raiders’ victory with a 21-yard TD run. Kansas linebacker Ben Heeney had a career-high 17 solo tackles.
10/11: Oklahoma State 27, Kansas 20
Despite outgaining its opponent 379-275, Kansas was unable to upset No. 16 Oklahoma State, which improved to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the Big 12. Kansas tied the game with just under seven minutes left, but Oklahoma State’s Tyreek Hill returned the ensuing kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown to make it 27-20. Quarterback Michael Cummings finished with 288 yards and one interception.
10/4: West Virginia 33, Kansas 14
The Jayhawks lost on the road for the 26th straight time. It was the first game under interim head coach Clint Bowen, who took over after Charlie Weis’ firing. Kansas had only 176 yards of total offense, compared to WVU’s 557 yards. Quarterback Montell Cozart was pulled after the first half and replaced by Michael Cummings, who finished with 65 yards.
9/27: Texas 23, Kansas 0
Kansas failed to put any points on the board in the Big 12 opener against Texas, its 30th loss in its last 31 conference games. Kansas has not beaten Texas in 76 years and was also shut out by the Longhorns in 2011. Quarterback Montell Cozart had four interceptions in the loss.
9/20: Kansas 24, Central Michigan 10
Kansas got off to a quick start with a 74-yard TD run by Tony Pierson on the opening drive. Central Michigan tied the game at 10-10 in the third quarter before Justin McCray’s 60-yard TD reception from Montell Cozart. Cozart finished with 226 yards for two touchdowns and one interception.
9/13: Duke 41, Kansas 3
The Jayhawks managed only one field goal against the Blue Devils. Kansas had 297 total yards compared to Duke’s 511 yards. The defense failed to contain Duke freshman Shaun Wilson, who rushed for a school-record 245 yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Montell Cozart threw for 89 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 3.3 yards per pass.
9/6: Kansas 34, SE Missouri State 28
Kansas survived a fourth-quarter scare to win its season opener against Southeast Missouri State. The Jayhawks led 24-0 into at halftime and 34-7 in the fourth quarter, but the Redhawks came back to score three touchdowns before time ran out. De’Andre Mann rushed for 121 yards and Tony Pierson caught four passes for 95 yards.
