Iowa (7-4, 4-3 Big Ten) takes on Nebraska Friday in Iowa City in the regular season finale for both schools.
Nebraska (8-3, 4-3 Big Ten) is seeking to win nine games for the seventh straight season and is looking to bounce back after two consecutive losses. Iowa has lost two of the three contests to Nebraska since Nebraska has been in the Big Ten.

11/22:Minnesota 28, Nebraska 24
Minnesota secured its first victory in Lincoln since 1960, rallying from a 14-point halftime deficit. The Gophers rushed for 280 yards, led by Mitch Leidner's season-high 110 yards and two scores and running back David Cobb's 80 yards. Ameer Abdullah had 98 yards and a touchdown, and Tommy Armstrong threw for 233 yards for Nebraska, which lost its second-straight game.
11/15:Wisconsin 59, Nebraska 24
Nebraska's defense was shredded by Heisman candidate Melvin Gordon, who ran for an FBS-record 408 yards on just 25 carries and did not even play in the fourth quarter. (Gordon's record was broken the next week by Oklahoma running back Samaje Perine.) Nebraska jumped out to a 17-3 lead thanks to two Gordon fumbles, but the Cornhuskers couldn't sustain any offense or slow down Gordon the rest of the game.
11/1: Nebraska 35, Purdue 14
Ameer Abdullah injured his left knee on Nebraska’s second possession of the game, and Imani Cross filled in by rushing for 66 yards and two touchdowns. Nebraska was sloppy for most of the game, turning the ball over three times and only generating 297 yards of total offense. The win moved the Huskers into sole possession of first place in the Big Ten West.
10/25: Nebraska 42, Rutgers 24
All-America candidate Ameer Abdullah set a school record with 341 all-purpose yards, running for more than 200 yards for the fourth time this season. Nebraska receiver Kenny Bell had six catches for 63 yards and became the school’s career leader in reception. Rutgers played without suspended wideouts Janarion Grant and Andre Patton. The defeat was the eighth straight for the Scarlet Knights against teams in the Top 25.
10/18: Nebraska 38, Northwestern 17
Northwestern only generated 290 yards of offense and went 5-of-16 on third down as Nebraska took control by scoring 24 second-half points. Ameer Abdullah ran 23 times for 146 yards and four touchdowns for the Huskers, who ran for 237 yards.
10/4:Michigan State 27, Nebraska 22
The Cornhuskers rallied from a 27-3 deficit in the fourth quarter but the rally fell short when Tommy Armstrong Jr.’s pass was intercepted at the Spartans’ 17 yard line with 30 seconds left. Nebraska has lost its last nine road games against top-10 opponents. Ameer Abdullah’s 24 carries set a new career record, increasing his total to 687 and breaking the old mark of 668 set by Mike Rozier (1981-83).
9/27: Nebraska 45, Illinois 14
The Cornhuskers have scored at least 30 points in all five games this season, just the second time in the last 19 seasons they have hit that mark. Nebraska’s 624 yards of total offense marked the first time it has topped the 600-yard mark in a Big Ten game. Ameer Abdullah had a career-high three rushing touchdowns, finishing with 208 yards on 22 carries.
9/20: Nebraska 41, Miami 31
Nebraska improved to 40-5 in night games at Memorial Stadium. Ameer Abdullah shared Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors after rushing for 229 yards and two touchdowns on 35 carries, as well as adding a 3-yard touchdown catch. Abdullah moved to third on Nebraska’s all-time rushing list in the game with 3,602 yards, trailing only Mike Rozier (4,780) and Ahman Green (3,880).
9/13: Nebraska 55, Fresno State 19
The Huskers passed their first road test of the season behind 260 yards and three touchdown passes from quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. Ameer Abdullah finished with 110 yards on 19 carries, including a 57-yard touchdown in the first quarter. De’Mornay Pierson-El had an 86-yard punt return for a touchdown, the longest punt return since Eric Haag’s school-record 95-yarder against Texas in 2010.
9/6: Nebraska 31, McNeese State 24
Ameer Abdullah saved Nebraska against their FCS visitors by turning a short pass into a game-winning 58-yard touchdown reception with 20 seconds left. The Huskers improved to 11-0 all-time against FCS opponents. Quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. rushed for 131 yards, a career high, on 11 carries. It was the first 100-yard ground game for a Nebraska quarterback since Taylor Martinez in the 2012 Big Ten Championship game.
8/30: Nebraska 55, Florida Atlantic 7
Ameer Abdullah rushed for a career-high 232 yards on 21 carries. Nebraska’s 784 yards of total offense were its most since gaining 787 against Utah State in 1991. The Huskers’ 498 rushing yards were their most in a game since putting up 451 against Kansas State in 2010.
Iowa
11/22: Wisconsin 26, Iowa 24
Melvin Gordon passed the 2,000-yard mark by rushing with 200 yards and two touchdowns, leading Wisconsin to its sixth straight win. Gordon became the 17th FBS player to rush for over 2,000 yards in a season. Jake Rudock threw for 311 yards and two touchdowns, who rallied from a 16-point deficit to get within two points with less than five minutes remaining.
11/15: Iowa 30, Illinois 14
Iowa rolled up 587 yards of total offense, led by Mark Weisman's 134 rushing yards and Jake Rudock's 210 passing yards and two touchdowns. llini quarterback Wes Lunt saw his first action in a month coming off a leg injury and threw for 102 yards.
11/8: Minnesota 51, Iowa 14
Minnesota took back the Floyd of Rosedale trophy with a dominating performance, holding the Hawkeyes to 84 yards rushing and 205 total yards and forcing three turnovers. Mitch Leidner completed only 10 passes all game, but four of those went for touchdowns. Maxx Williams caught three touchdowns on five receptions.
11/1: Iowa 48, Northwestern 7
Iowa's 48 points were the most the Hawkeyes scored against Northwestern since putting up 62 in 2002, and their most in a Big Ten game since 2005. Jake Ruddock completed 12 of 19 passes for 239 yards with one touchdown. John Lowdermilk led the team with 12 tackles.
10/18:Maryland 38, Iowa 31
The Terps won the first-ever meeting between the two schools. Iowa had season-highs in penalties and penalty yards. Iowa cut the Maryland lead to seven points with a field goal with 1:19 left to play. The Hawkeyes' onside kick attempt failed but they were able to force the Terps to go three-and-out. Iowa got the ball back with under a minute to play, but turned the ball over on downs after earning just one first down.
10/11: Iowa 45, Indiana 29
The Hawkeyes forced three turnovers and overcame 432 total yards of offense from the Hoosiers. QB Jake Rudock completed 19 of 27 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns, while Mark Weisman gained 89 yards rushing with two touchdowns. Iowa held possession of the ball for more than 35 minutes in the game.
9/27: Iowa 24, Purdue 10
Iowa fell behind by a 10-0 margin before finishing the game with 24 unanswered points. QB C.J. Beathard completed only 17 of 37 passes, but he accumulated 245 yards passing and a touchdown through the air. Iowa outgained Purdue by a final margin of 420-156 in the game.
9/20: Iowa 24, Pittsburgh 20
Mark Weisman gained 88 yards on 22 carries, including two touchdowns. Iowa committed only two penalties and one turnover while coming back from a 10-point halftime deficit.
9/13:Iowa State 20, Iowa 17
In a rivalry game, Iowa was upended at home. The Hawkeyes netted only 275 yards of total offense in the game and committed two turnovers. Iowa allowed opposing quarterback Sam B. Richardson to produce two touchdowns and throw for 255 yards.
9/6: Iowa 17, Ball State 13
The Hawkeyes gained 455 total yards, including 342 passing yards, but in the end, Iowa needed a late touchdown to escape with a win. Jake Rudock completed 33 of 52 passes for 322 yards and two touchdowns and also led the team in rushing with 36 yards on seven attempts in the game.
8/30: Iowa 31, Northern Iowa 23
The Hawkeyes opened the season with an eight-point win over an in-state foe. Jake Rudock led the way offensively with 250 yards on 31 of 41 passing and two touchdowns, but Iowa was outgained 405-401 in total yards. The visiting Panthers committed two turnovers.
